Abu Dhabi Mira Hills: A Landmark New Destination in the UAE
Abu Dhabi Mira Hills is a 560-hectare master-planned development in Al Mamoura, created by Mira Developments in collaboration with AD Ports Group. Planned across five phases, Abu Dhabi Mira Hills will include more than 7,200 apartments and 1,900 villas and townhouses. Residential neighbourhoods are set among five kilometres of seawater lagoons, eight private beaches, an 18-hole championship golf course, parks and landscaped public spaces.
The master plan also includes three five-star hotels and resorts, universities and schools, a 200-bed hospital, a major retail and entertainment destination, business facilities, sports venues and the Museum of the UAE. Around 70,000 people are expected to live at Abu Dhabi Mira Hills, with a further 50,000 coming each day for work, education, healthcare and leisure.
Where the Idea of the UAE Began
The land on which Abu Dhabi Mira Hills is being developed has a unique place in the history of the UAE. In 1968, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum met here for discussions that helped lay the foundations for the formation of the United Arab Emirates in 1971.
The Museum of the UAE will carry this history into the new development, creating a national cultural landmark on the site connected to the beginnings of the Union.
Water and Greenery Shape the Master Plan
Five kilometres of interconnected seawater lagoons run through Abu Dhabi Mira Hills, bringing water deep into its residential neighbourhoods. Eight private beaches, waterfront promenades and landscaped open spaces extend this environment throughout the master plan.
Parks and urban forests form another layer of the landscape, connected by approximately 40 kilometres of walking routes and 21 kilometres of cycling paths. Together, water and greenery give the development its open character and create space for daily life outdoors.

An 18-hole championship golf course and clubhouse sit among the residential neighbourhoods of Abu Dhabi Mira Hills, surrounded by water and landscaped grounds.

A Complete Community from the First Phase
Abu Dhabi Mira Hills will be developed in five phases, with the first covering approximately 130 hectares. The first phase is planned as a complete neighbourhood, with homes accompanied by supermarkets, restaurants, local retail, sports facilities and other everyday services.
